We found a recipe for soft pretzels and thought it would be fun to try it out, and it was! This was our first attempt, and the first batch cooked a little long, but the second set was perfection! It was so simple, and the kids had a ball shaping their pretzels into funny, personalized shapes. In fact, it said quite a bit about their personalities, K-$, Q-"Q.K.G." (this kid loves his monogram!) T-HI! and T, Th-a big smiley face, S-a heart and the number 8, she can't wait for her birthday 5 months from now!

I know you live there and all, but every time I see pictures of your family in the kitchen it surprises me that it's not us. Weird. It's only been 2 1/2 years.
Pretzels are so fun to make. I need to do that with my kids again. It's been a while.
Just seeing that many kids in the kitchen makes me start to hyperventilate....I REALLY need to learn to be more like you!-J
I wondered if the photos were odd for you to see, life is funny! And J-yes, you do need to be more like me, :) but only in the kids in the kitchen department! Baby steps, baby steps!
