Thane's Arrow of Light

Thane received his Arrow of light at Cub Scout Pack Meeting this month, yippee!  This is the highest award in Cub Scouting, and marks another goal off the list before we move.  He was worried about moving and missing out on receiving this cool arrow.  It's hard to see, but the little plaque below the arrow has his name and the date he received the award, not every pack does this, and he really wanted one.

Our Cubmaster also built a very cool bridge that represents the crossing over from Cubs to Boy Scouts, and when you receive your Arrow of Light you get to sign the bridge with a silver sharpie marker with your name and the date, another much anticipated milestone.  Whew!  Big sigh of relief when both goals were met-before the move!

Congratulations, Thane!  You worked hard, and made your goals!  We love you buddy, great job!

Good job, Thane. Don't think Neena would be too flattered with this pic!
