I am not a prolific blogger, I really don't have that much to say. This is really just a place to post pictures and updates on the family. Then why do I harbor such guilt over my lack of blogginess? I feel horribly guilty that it's been almost 2 months since my last post. I suppose my little blog is neglected, but life's just not that exciting right now. And I don't have any lofty thoughts to wax poetic on. I mostly blame my guilt on my friend Jenny's blog. She is a prolific blogger. She has EPIPHANIES I can only long for. Ahhh...we all have our own talents I suppose.
So here is a quick update on the last several weeks...Tate took 5th place in the school spelling bee...Go Tate! He also made it to the final round of the Elementary School Geography Bee-not sure what place he took. Again, Go Tate! Thane and Tate have both been playing basketball, their team records are sad to behold, but I think their skills have improved, and they are having a great time. Quinn is now 1st chair in the Orchestra he plays with in his Junior High (he plays Bass), a great accomplishment, as he is the youngest bass player. Go Quinn! He is also working on figuring out what his Eagle Scout project should be...we'll keep you posted. Kiefer is working on all the paperwork to turn in his application for Eagle Scout. It is slow going, think a turtle in slow motion kind of slow going. I am ready to light a serious fire under this turtle's behind and be done with it. There have been a couple of Scout campouts, the Pinewood Derby for Thane, and the Blue and Gold Dinner. Thane also earned his Wolf in Cubs and advanced to Bears on his 9th birthday. He had a great birthday, in general he is pretty happy about life.
As you can see, life is just going, going, and going. Nothing exciting or monumental, or blogworthy. But it is becoming spring here, and the air smells of oranges and the days are sunny and warm. It is a good time of year to be here!

My blogging in no way is to cause guilt. Like Mormon women need one more thing to feel guilty about!
And, BTW, I tried, successfully, to not be offended by your comment about my stinkiness and solving that problem before we can get together. I find sharing my foibles usually makes me more interesting, but if I need to be more perfect like you, well, I haven't run out of deoderant yet!
(I hope you can see my tongue firmly planted in my cheek!)
