Maybe once a month updates on 1 kid will be my new style of blogging. who knows.  We got some pictures today from Quinn's wrestling season, and I wanted to share and update on him.  He had a great year! It is his second year of wrestling, and he improved so much.  And that's not just a mom talking, he was awarded most improved wrestler by his coaches at the Banquet.   

*Quinn would want you to know the reason his mouth is puffed out in every shot is because of the special mouth guard he had to wear for his braces.  He hated it.  It was ginormous.  It was required.  He is glad he won't wrestle with braces next year!*

 He was also moved from JV to Varsity about halfway through the season, which he was torn about---it meant wrestling much better wrestlers---so fewer wins for him.  He still made it to Regionals & took 5th place.  I was proud of him.  He was mad he didn't go higher.  

Today he brought home his Varsity Letter and I asked him as he looks back if he would rather have been a JV wrestler all season and possibly gone to State and he said no.  He's glad he took the harder route.  

He's a good kid.  

Quinn is a hard worker, he puts his mind to something and nothing gets in his way.  He astounds me.  I love him so much.  I'm so thankful to call him my son.  Even if he is a "Dart" (who thought of that mascot anyways?)
